I have always told others that the reason i like to be back is not because of the place I stay or the delicious food that others associate this place to. I love coming back because of the people, their company and understanding. It is here that I can be my true self and there is nothing to hide from the people whom I love and love me. I am most comfortable in this state because I know that I do not have to earn others' love and compassion. Here, I have loyal family and childhood friends.
I had a sisterly session with two of my buddies today at one of their houses. We had dinner and a catch-up session, talking mainly about relationships. We had new confessions and share dark secrets as though we were in some underground meeting. Anyway, we felt so happy and we cherished each other's company because we know that no matter how ugly our personal secrets might be, nothing affects our friendships because they were based on trust and love. We only want each other to live a happy and healthy life.
The happy session was also made complete with the presence of my friend's puffy guinea pig and this new beverage that we ought to try out:
Not bad to me, at least it didn't taste bitter like beer. But my friend thought raspberry reminded her of cough syrup. Well, no one is exactly the same but we have long learnt the value of embracing differences among us =)
